Astec IT Solutions is investing in project management expertise as it prepares for a busy year ahead. Growth forecasts across pharmaceutical, food & beverage and utilities have resulted in a recruitment drive to ensure clients continue to receive the best possible support.
Adam Bratley has been appointed as Project Manager to support a major process development programme, updating management and quality system procedures.
As the newest member of the management team, Adam brings a depth of knowledge from over 13 years’ experience working on secure online government accounts for the Department of Work and Pensions, delivering projects such as the Government Gateway and Tell Us Once service. He is proficient in continuous process improvement, implementation planning and defect resolution in a range of environments. Having graduated in 2002 with a BSc in Business and Information Technology, Adam is a PRINCE2 practitioner and ITIL certified with his portfolio including change and release management, service management, internal auditing and quality management.
The changes will ensure projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, consistent with the company’s ISO9001 quality standards. Working closely alongside Project Team Leaders Marcus McDonald and Nick Morley-Smith, Adam is responsible for streamlining resources to highlight best practice and efficient time management.
