Astec IT Solutions have confirmed attendance at this year’s Making Pharmaceuticals exhibition at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham this April.
Joining a growing number of other suppliers at the event, Astec will be showcasing its services and expertise to pharmaceutical developers, R&D, manufacturers, quality engineers, microbiologists and process engineers.
The exhibition focuses on issues associated with sourcing, manufacturing, outsourcing and delivering pharmaceutical products to the market. With feedback from The Annual Manufacturing Report 2016 showing MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) as one of the top priorities for IT investment, Astec’s successful track record of projects in validated environments will be of particular interest to manufacturing innovators.
Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of how much talked-about concepts such as Big Data and The Internet Of Things can be utilised and implemented to accelerate and improve processes.
As preparations for the show begin in earnest, Systems Sales Manager for Astec, Craig Hill comments
“Developing pharmaceutical business is a key area of focus for us this year, so we’re inviting the industry to put us on the hot seat. It’s vital to effectively communicate the benefits our solutions provide over and above many existing systems. Astec’s business intelligence and data analytics enable clients to gain critical insights to drive efficiency and increase productivity, and this event is about getting that message out there.”
Sean Robinson of Kerrco Automation, channel partner for GE Digital, will also be speaking on behalf of Astec to discuss how predictive approaches underpin supply chain excellence.
The Astec stand can be found in the Manxman Suite at 401, and the seminar presentation will be held at 2.20pm on 26th April.
